Well it definitively was the High Tea yestherday… my best friend invited me and her other friends that helped her during this hard time in her life…it was a wonderful afternoon..so much love around….and it made me happy still having her with me…

Okay..the moment you are all waitin for………..the winners are…..

Iris

Congratulations girls, I will sent you the GC’s tomorrow morning first!

Thanks and have a great evening!

Miranda

Looking forward to the weekend? I do..I will have a High Tea with some close friends and it will be great!

Today I want to bring you some news about NSD….and to show you what our lovely Patricia created this week…..

‘Beauty of the Earth – Digital Art Card & Envelope’ – Created especially for Earth Day, this is art card is a print from watercolor painting and collaged digitally. It is almost like ‘hidden pictures’ art as you may not see the fish, geese or deer at first. No words are on the front as it is suitable to frame or give as a gift for multiple occasions! I have included a file for the card interior with the Henry David Thoreau quote, “Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.”

It prints up beautifully and you can embellish further with ribbons, twine, beads or whatever you love to create with! Print up as many unique cards as you wish for a fraction the price of retail greeting cards!

Grab it now as it is 20& off now!!

Then….news about NSD (National Scrapbooking Day)…our lovely threesome all have some fun new things ready to go (and still working on more) and they will be released on NSD, May 1-3..so please stay tuned for those!!!

As a little taste on NSD I will randomly give away 2 $5 coupons for some spending money for NSD…..the only thing you have to do is tell me what is something fun or good that happened to you this past week that made you happy.

I will pick the winners Sunday evening so make sure that you will be back to this out!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and see you back Sunday evening,

Miranda

My grandson had surgery over a week ago to remove a solid mass (he was 3 weeks old at the time). Today we got the pathology report back and it is benign. So I am definitely happy about that!

We had an unusual hot spell for a few days – mid 90s, and then it cooled way down, even below average. I hate hot weather, so I’m loving this little cool spell.

I got the news that I won the race for a new job, and I am so happy!!!!! Finally I can feel good about myself again, because the nasty and mean manager soon is history to me, when I’ll be joining my new team and colleages.

I guess something good happened to me this week that makes me very happy. A few months ago I had a very deep-seated infection and pneumonia which has left me on oxygen (hopefully just temporarily). Easter weekend I had another flare-up of the infection and just about went into the ER but instead treated it at home myself, and yesterday, I went out to a department store and walked around the store for over an hour. I have had to use the riding carts but this store didn’t have them so I decided I would walk until I started to get tired. Well, I never got tired and had a nice walk. So, I went out and did the same thing today hoping we can building my lungs back up so I won’t need the oxygen.

I will be THIRTY on Monday and yesterday my Mum took me for a surprise shopping spree and bought me a whole lot of clothes! I was blown away as she has never done anything like this and I had not much to wear these days. So that was GREAT 🙂

Happy NSD everyone!

We had a great time together.

Sounds like everyone has had a good week! I enjoyed reading everyone’s comments. This week, I had a HUGE surprise when my husband gave me a new DSLR camera after our old point-and-shoot broke. He knew I couldn’t possibly survive without a camera, so gave it to me as part of my 30th birthday countdown – apparently, there is only 85 days to go lol.

Looking forward to NSD 🙂

My kids experienced the joys of caterpillars (for the first time), and BOTH OF them were delighted to have those little suckers creeping around on their skin. My delights….that I didn’t have to once touch them myself!

It’s the last week of school holidays here, and we’ve done a ton of really fun activities with the kids: sleepovers, mini-golf, the beach, train trips and special dinners. I think I’ve enjoyed it as much as the girls have (5 and 2). Really goes to show that quality far outweighs quantity every time.

My husband and I spent today visiting with old friends at our 48th high-school reunion. It is nice to know that folks we haven’t seen in 48 years are still folks we would like if we were just meeting them for the first time. It was a fun day.

This last week, I had to return my leased car to the dealer after 4 years, as the lease was running out. I was so prepared to buy an older used one… – but then the day before we had to return the old car, my husband came home with a brand new one! You can’t imagine how happy I am – I am really lucky to have a guy like that!
