AAM Challenge

January 11, 2010

Hi, everyone!  It’s Monday, and that means we’ve got a brand new challenge ready for you, and it’s another opportunity to earn a Petal Point (more about the Petal Point System below)!  This is my first challenge, and I decided to do an All About Me (AAM) challenge.  Let’s get to know each other!  I want to see layouts about your personality!  Head on over HERE in the Weedpatch Challenge Forum to get all the details.

If you’re new to the Petal Points System, here’s how it works:  We challenge you to make a layout, usually a new challenge every Monday.  You make your layout using W&W products, upload it to our Challenge Gallery, and post the image in the Challenge Thread.  This week’s challenge thread is HERE.  (There is still one running from last week, too!)  At the end of the month, I go through each challenge and award one point to each person who participated (if you are participating for the first time, I’ll just add you into my spreadsheet as I go).  The CT members and designers vote on a favorite layout to earn an extra Petal Point.  When you reach 10 points, you get a $10 coupon to the shoppe!  The first week of the month, I tally the points and post the list in the Petal Points Forum.

The beauty of the Petal Points system is that you can participate in the challenges that are meaningful to you, whenever those may be.   Your points don’t expire, they just accumulate, even if you can’t participate for a while.  And the best part – you earn $$ to the shoppe!  That’s right, not a discount, but a $10 coupon!

Isn’t this points system GREAT!?  I think so.  Have fun creating your layouts!  I can’t wait to see them.

It’s not long ago, there was an AAM challenge!

Or I’m wrong?

I don’t think we did, but perhaps you interpreted another prompt in that way. If you do not want to do another AAM challenge, that’s ok. With the Petal Points system you only have to do the ones you want.
