It is Monday and time for another challenge. I have a new one for you this week, a Garden Makeover. Take an older layout and do it over.
Do you have a layout you did that you just don’t like? Or, how about a layout that is fabulous, but with all the new techniques you have learned, it could be better? I have been digital scrapping since 2005 and I have LOTS I would love to redo. When I back in my stash, I found this one of my daughter. I love the photo, but the layout just doesn’t cut it. It seems too washed out, the photo could have a better crop, and the shadows could use a little more work.
Well, I re-did it and here is what I came up with:
I really have learned so much over the years and, of course, this kit, Sweet and Simple Kit #6, from Weeds and Wildflower makes a huge difference with the look of my layout.
So go back through some of your layouts and see if there isn’t one you could make just a bit better. I challenge you.
And just for participating, you can earn a petal point, but in order to earn the petal point, your layout must be:
1. 80% of WW Goodies
2. Upload your pages to the WW Challenge Gallery
3. Post at the WW Challenge Forum thread with a link to your page by Sunday, June 27th
I can’t wait to see your garden makeovers!
