IS IT SODA, POP OR COKE WHERE YOU COME FROM?

This week’s PPC is all about celebrating your hometown.  Now that I live in Seattle, people always think of the space needle or Mt. Rainier.  When I lived in Iowa our hometown had a gorgeous courthouse that was the town’s symbol.  Every town is known for something – either big or small or something personal to you.  Take this PPC as a chance to celebrate your hometown – whether through a monument, a cute story, or a weird word that only your town uses.

Here is a picture of Mt Rainier taken from my deck.  It looks like it is close, but it is actually a 2.5 hour drive from here!

So why is your town famous?  I’m going to go get a pop and wait for all your symbolic pictures.
