Our Guest CT Tanya (Sunflowersbaby) is running this week’s LO challenge with me. She’s been finding inspiration in old, heritage pictures lately… and I’ve been finding inspiration in her layouts! I’m going to turn this post over to her now.
Okay so how many of you have boxes and boxes of old pictures, or file folders on your computer of pictures you have scanned. I know I have plenty of them myself. In October I found myself digging through some of the files of scanned pictures on my computer looking for some black and white pictures for the challenges. I found some gems that should not be relegated to collecting virtual dust. I would hate for the little I do know about them to be lost forever. There are so many pictures that have no story to tell and no one left who can share it. So I have been trying to write the memories that I do know down so that they will be preserved.
You may have seen these pages in the gallery. But here is a new page using a picture of my husbands Grandmother that is wonderful. The picture of her perfectly portrays her personality even though I did not know her until she was much older.
Here’s a LO from CT member Jazzy
And here’s a LO by our friend GinaMarie. We would love to see your holiday heritage LOs as well!
So, the Challenge this week is for you to dust off some of your boxes or files and scrap some old pictures. Please post your heritage LO challenge entries to our challenge gallery and challenge thread in the forum by Sunday, December 19th at 12:00 Midnight E.S.T.
Here are the WW challenge rules and information about our Petal Points system.
