Winners announced!! The LIFE365 Monthly summary

January 25, 2009

Ok ladies… Like you may have seen in the forum, that it all got a little delayed!! Gina just wants her goodies to be P E R F E C T!! And to be honest I love that about her…The quality she delivers is always the BEST you can get…

So here we go… Have you seen it in the shoppe already?? It’s awesome and such a cool idea. Let me introduce: LIFE 365 – Monthly Summaries. She’s made a version where you can ‘build it yourself’ or get the quickpages and all you need to do with those is plop your photos on there… let me show you.

LIFE 365 – ‘Build It Yourself’ Monthly Summarysummary

As you can see on the preview she made step-by-step instructions for you how to use these… And I can tell it’s so easy to use and love how you can use use as you wish. I couldn’t resist and grabbed them right away. I decided to start each month of my book (to be) with a monthly summary like this. Here’s what I did with it (of course the black blocks will be filled when the month is over)

january_resize

Then here is the ‘LIFE 365 – Quick Page Templates – Monthly Summaries set’. The work is ALL done for you with these easy-to-use QuickPage Templates. These are flattened QuickPages, EXCEPT the layered photo templates, date numbers and journaling suggestions (in a PSD file), so you can slide your photos in and be done in a flash. All 12 Months of the 2009 Calendar in whimsical colors… Just add a little section of your daily photos, a little journaling, a couple elements and you are done!summary2

Gina added this cute hint to the store’s description:

*Hint – If you put only a small piece of the photo, it makes it fun to guess what the actual photo looks like when you go to that page in your LIFE 365 book!

CLOSED!!!So who wants a chance to win one of these two sets??? Simply leave me a comment here and tell me which set you prefer and how you are going to use these monthly pages… Tomorrow I will be back to pick three lucky ladies who will get one of these sets!!!CLOSED

Congrats ladies and will be sending out to codes to these wonderful packs this week! Thanks everyone for playing!

—————————————————————-

Now before I’m heading out I spotted this thread in the forum today by Rachel (Athenagwis). She already used this fabulous ‘built it yourself’ kit and came up with this great idea… She’s making two pages of each month and is going to use the first page for each day’s pic and then the second page has a one or two word explanation of the pic. I love this idea and it looks way cute!! Check out here pages…TFS Rachel!

Oh I love these- especially for my family books as the grandparents don’t need to see ALL of our pictures, just the cute kid ones. I’m a busy working mom, so I’d love the monthly review QPs. Thanks for the chance to win! 🙂

I’d really love the build it yourself kit, that way I could use the cool month elements on other pages as well… and it could be neat to use to make calendar gifts for the grandparents next Christmas!

Wow!! Thanks for showing off my page!! 🙂 🙂 I actually bought the Quick Pages because that was all I saw in the store at the time!! I would have bought the build it yourself one, but I didn’t see it. 🙁 LOL I guess I made my own build it yourself!! Though I would have loved to have those month titles separate. So maybe I’ll be a lucky winner here and get the build it yourself set!! 🙂

Thanks again fro featuring my page!! I feel almost famous!! LOL

Ohh these are awesome just like all of Gina’s products! I would love to be able to win the BIY set…..not only would I insert the pages with into my 365 book, but I would also use them to get a head start on some calendars for next year…..I have several family members that would like a custom calendar for their desktops as work, but the two page calendars aren’t practical, this would be perfect!!
Thanks for the chance to win!! 🙂

These are as awesome as the life 365 kits!! I would like to use the build it yourself kits to make a monthly album for my mom. This way she can get a glimpse of how her grandchildren (and her daughter) look in everyday life. It has been great fun taking photos daily.

I LOVE this new monthly set..totally amazing! I can see this being used for for many other projects/layouts.

I am already planning doing a memory calendar for my one yearl old grandson using this new kit, of his first year as a keepsake, documenting such things as ~ first tooth, sitting up etc.

Also the idea of doing a summary of each month for my 365 project a the beginning of each month..as a “sneak peek” has really got me excited. Thanks for continuing to inspire!! I think the build it yourself kit would suit my needs perfectly. Keeping my fingers crossed xxox Deb

January 25, 2009 at 6:22 pm

Wow! I need these so bad. I’d definitely use the quick page versions. I can barely get my photos off the camera right now. I don’t think I’ll have much time to scrap lots of pages, so these will be neat for sure! Thanks for a chance to win.

January 25, 2009 at 6:26 pm

I love both of these options, and I am terribly at making decisions/choices. I had one choice made the quick pages since I need all the help I can get in actually finishing pages, but then changed my mind. I am going to jump on the bandwagon for the BIY kit. Gina made the Life 365 kit so easy to use that I’m sure she has done the same for this one. Thanks for the chance. Okay, talking to self now — I have made a decision. Stick to it, stick to it, stick to it!

January 25, 2009 at 6:39 pm

The monthly summary pages are a great add-on to this wonderful kit. I like the BIY pages because I can put my dates in in German. I would also like to use them at the beginning of each month to show my two not yet reading kids what important events are ahead (like birthdays, easter, family trips). Thanks for all the work you’re putting in to making it easy for us to do this 365 days project!

January 25, 2009 at 7:28 pm

Woops, forgot to say how I’d use them…as suggested a monthly summary with partial pics – sort of the teaser effect for the weekly pages. I have the 365 Starter set for those already.

Janet
January 25, 2009 at 7:33 pm

Wow!! What a fantastic addition. I would love the BIY kit to do a “preview” of the month to come – I love th idea of using the same pics from the weekly’s keeping it large and using only a portion of the photo. Very creative!!

BarbaraB
January 25, 2009 at 7:39 pm

I love them both – but probably would prefer the build it yourself. Will use it for our family album! Thanks for a chance to win.

Carol
January 25, 2009 at 8:56 pm

The build it yourself kit is the winner for me. I have the rest of the WW 365 set and think this will add nicely at the beginning of each month or as a follow up.
Thanks

January 25, 2009 at 9:12 pm

I love the build it yourself kit. I would use it to create a simplier version of my 365 kit to send to my childrens grandfather that lives far from us and we do not get to see very often. This way he could see what we have been doing everyday. I would also use it for my desktop screensaver…this way it would always be in front of me and remind me if I need to get busy and upload my pictures!

Kathy
January 25, 2009 at 9:17 pm

Just gorgeous! I love all the 365 kits! The just keep getting better and better! I really like the build it yourself kit and love the idea of a summary page at the beginning of each month. Thanks!

I just love this new add-on and what you made with it :o) I want the build-it-yoursel kit and will buy it before the end of the month for sure :o) I plan on making a summary page of each month and probably use it to make a page presenting what is the projet and a page listing, each month, what we did that month, individually or as a family… That project is just great and these kits make it so simple to keep with it. thank you to all designers who have or will participate in it :o)
