re printing the new Everyday Life 8.5 X 11 size

re printing the new Everyday Life 8.5 X 11 size

Postby pennyshilling » Thu Jan 13, 2011 8:09 pm

Before I decide to go with the new 12 X 12 Everyday Life or the 8.5 by 11, I'm trying to find where I can get books printed in the the 8.5 X 11 in portrait orientation. I really would like to have a change from working on 12 X 12 pages.( I have already purchased both sets LOL :clap )

I really like Blurb but they only do a 8 x 10 landscape.

Any suggestions or thoughts on this would be appreciated so I can sort this out and get cracking on 2011.

PS to any of our Aussie girls living in Queensland or Northern NSW affected by our flood disaster.... my thoughts and sympathy are with you. :hug xxox

I am doing the Blurb 8x10 standard I think they call it and without the border trim these pages work great dropping right in without any resizing....I linked up in another post...will try to find it and link here again tomorrow :)

Deb, I actually remade the 8.5x11 templates to match blurb 8x10 exact page dimensions ratio (I had to enlarge the original page width by about 115 pixels and I accommodated the border and picture sizes accordingly). Bu I am a perfectionist so don't mind me ;)

Fantastic!
Thanks Tee, appreciate your reassurance.. your pages look fantastic! :clap I really want to give this sze a whirl.

Cinzia :meet .. thankyou so much for being a perfectionist :thanks and using a ratio for the pages that can be easily resized for Blurb. Being tarred with the same brush.. I have to work out the fine details before I get started from the bones up too. :teehee This is just the news I have been needing to clinch the deal for me. So nice to have you here on the team. :clap

Sounds great, so glad you all figured it out!

There is also Inkubook, who prints 8.5x11 for what seems to be an affordable price, but I have never tried them before..

Here is the details on the 8.5x11 book: http://inkubook.com/PhotoBook/PortraitPhotoBooks.aspx

It looks like they only go to 120 pages, however.. but just another option! :D
