Well I have been thinking a lot lately about the economy, (haven't we all, LOL) and thinking about all the business and stores that are closing down left and right around here. Stores I am so sad to see go. However, if you think back to when you were younger, there were stores I remember that don't exist anymore but have memories to me. Well this also got me thinking even more about the businesses and stores I visit and shop regularly today. So I decided for this weeks Photo Prompt Challenge, it would be fun to see where we all shop around the globe.

So this week grab your point and shoot camera, throw it in your purse and while you're out and about filling up your gas tank, buying groceries, or stopping at the quick mart for something, snap a photo, inside or out!

When you are done, come back and share your photos with us here in this thread. I will randamoly pick 1 winner for a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the Weeds and Wildflower Shoppe.

All photos must be posted by Sunday March 1st to be eligible for the GC.

Grocery Shopping

Filling up my tank.

This is a place we eat at frequently on the weekends.

My DD and a friend shopping for school supplies at the local Office Depot.

Ok this photo I could not resist. I lost my DS at the local Target store and me and my DD went looking for him. We usually find him in the video game section, but today he was here, laying on an empty shelve playing his own video game.

And Suzanne, loving this photo prompt! You have me in stitches with DS and Target!! Way cute and SO typical of a boy!! mmm??? let me see what pic I will snap this week? My grocery store clerks already think I'm a bit off kilter, teehee

I've been having a ball with my Project 365 and the W&W challenges. I'm all over this next PPC.... just returned home from my usual Monday morning shop. Will have to make a return trip with the camera. :)

This is a totally great kiddie book store on Broadway. The kids & I love it here. The previous owner's husband got a job out of state, I believe, so the store was going to close. Luckily, someone else bought it, but there was a couple tense weeks where all my friends debated about how we could buy it to keep it open!

Funny...I took this picture on Tuesday for my LIFE 365. This was before I checked out the challenge for this week. I didn't get a pic of the store though.

DH and DD loading up the car after a Super Walmart shopping trip. Gotta make sure Kaitie has lots of "snaaacks" (said in a drawn out, whiny voice). DD is due on March 10th, so she really likes snacks!

I don't really get off campus much (though I did go to safeway yesterday... i just didn't bring my camera with me. :() so I took a picture of the frozen yogurt I love!
