Tuesday Tip…File Info

I LOVED this little spot in Photoshop when I am making layouts with goodies that come from different ktis, and especially when I am mixing designers so I can keep track for credits.

Today I am using it as a reminder to myself of two photos that I need to take and put in my LIFE 365 page for this day…my girls gave me adorable artwork for Mother’s Day and I want to scan it in and add it to my layout. So that I can remember these fill in spots I used this little PS tool.

Have a great week!

  1. Some things are so obvious once someone tells you about them! I think I’m going to use this for credit information on final layouts. Thanks for the tip!

  2. Teresa, you rock!

  3. I hadn’t thought of using the File Info box for that. Good idea! I have been using it for the credits and it works great for that as well. As I build my page, I go ahead and enter the credits (because by the time I’m done changing my layout a zillion times, I have forgotten where my elements, kit, template, etc. came from! LOL).

  4. Thanks so much. I’m going to check this out….sure beats using a notebook and scribbling everything down!

  5. Great tip, thank you.

  6. I didn’t even notice that line on my screen! THANK YOU for pointing it out. This was like an aha moment!
    so great. . . .
