Tutorial: Signatures

April 6, 2011

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.” –Juliet

Our signatures when we use them to sign papers, credit cards, and other important documents serve to identify us.  Our signatures are unique to us.  One can attempt to copy someones signature but there are always nuances that cannot be easily copied.  Just like a written signature, I believe that each of us has a unique style when we scrapbook.  We may not always follow that pattern, but it seems to sneak up on us and shine through when we least expect it.

How many of you have seen those cute signatures in the forums.  I cannot remember how I figured out how to make them. Recently I was asked how I did it.  I searched and was not able to to find a tutorial or instructions on how to do it.  Although there may be some instructions out there somewhere. I figure if one person has asked the question, there are others who would also like to know.  So I put together a tutorial.

A signature in the forums is another way of letting your own unique personality and scrapbooking style shine.  I hope that you will each take a little time to give us a glimpse of yourself, and let us know who you are when we are chatting in the forums.

You can view the tutorial here.

Thanks for this, Tanya. I’ve been wanting to make my own signature but I wasn’t sure of the sizes. Now this will be a new fun thing to do.
