November 7, 2009

Hi!  Heidi here, back with the winners for the Scrapper’s Guide DVD/CDs!

Using the RNG with the #’s 1-19 (and making sure the winning comments applied to the contest!) here are the results:

So congratulations to mskinsey and Merryellen!! You’ll be receiving an email shortly so we can get the info to send out your prizes! Hope everyone had a great Digital Scrapbooking Day!!

Hi there everyone! Kelly here, popping in to give you a little DSD day treat–a set of coordinated 365 quickpages! Just the thing to make a week of your Life 365 project that much easier! There’s plenty of room for your favorite embellishments and to layer on your own “journal-its” or just to journal freestyle (maybe a cream-colored font over the brown paper?). Hope you like them!

I used the coordinated Sweet and Simple kits (set #1) for these– love the fall colors of Pat’s So Many Pumpkins, Heidi’s Giving Thanks and Gina’s All Hollow’s Eve. Enjoy!

Hi! I’ve been trying out digi-scrapping since August so I’m brand new! New to scrapping too – I really want to put together an album of my recent holiday and would love some help from the DVDs!

My sister, Carol, is a wonderful digital scrapbooker and tries to help me, but she lives 1700 miles away. I want to do it, but have trouble getting started. Winning this would be just what I need to get going!

My friend Maegan finally convinced me to start- so fun, and so much easier than picking up all of my paper scrapping supplies each time my girls wake up! I am coming in pretty close to one official year, as I uploaded my first ‘freebies’ to try it out a bit last year at this time…but between that and taking out time for a newborn and selling/buying a house, I am definitely still in the newbie/first year category!

I asked and happily received for Christmas last year PhotoShop Elements 7 that included the training video from Scrappers Guide. It was just what I needed. I have learned so much from Linda and the Gang over at Scrappers Guide. I am conteplating the merits of getting PSE 8.
I love your site as well. I found you all when I was looking for doodles. Please keep up the good work. It is inspiring.

I just started last December with Digital Image Pro and switched to PSE7 in the spring. Loving PSE but finding I don’t know as much as I wish. Thanks for the great prize.

I have been scrappin for about 10 months now. Just learning my way around PSE with trial and error. I’d love to learn how to digi scrap more efficiently, I’m sure there’s a ton of stuff I could do but don’t know how.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!!

I have been lurking around the stores and forums for a couple of years now and have taken several digi classes. I have collected a bunch of kits but have yet to complete a layout so I guess you could say I am really really new to digi scrapping. I am planning on downloading Elements 8 and I would love to win one of Linda’s training cd’s.

Wow, what a fabulous gift and I would love to win it. I have been digital scrapbooking since Jan of this year, and just bought a Bamboo Craft which came with Photoshop but I haven’t figured out how to use it yet.

OMG, I would feel like I had died and gone to heaven if I could win these two Scrapper’s Guide discs. I’ve been drooling over them for a couple of months now. LOL! I got started with digiscrapping sometime in May when I lucked across the So You Think You Can Design (SYTYCD) contest. For quite some time I’ve been struggling with real-world scrapping, but I was always disappointed with the results. Somehow glue got in all the wrong places, papers didn’t really go with the photos, ribbons and fiber cut too short … you name it and I messed it up. All thumbs I was. A gigantic lightbulb got turned on the very first time I tried digital scrapping. Suddenly it didn’t matter if I messed up because in the blink of an eye and the click of a mouse, I could redo and renew the layout I was working on. I’m not saying it has been easy, however. Not by a long shot! I have struggled with learning how to make a circle, how to fix bad photos, how to resize and rotate, and many other problems. It still takes me hours and hours to complete a layout. And that’s why I desperately need these videos. You will save a grandmother’s poor eyes and nerves! There’s so much I want and need to learn, but no one where I live to turn to for help. Thank you big time in advance if you pick my name … 🙂

I recently got into digital scrapping after I lost my job. I have paper scrapped for nearly 15 years and was spending approx. $100-$500/month on supplies. Welp, once I lost my job, I figured that I couldn’t keep doing that…..sooooo the only logical decision was to try digital!!!! LOL! I have been around the digital community for about a year….mostly just lurking around. I struggle with completing an actual layout because there is a huge learning curve and I need some serious help! LOL!

this would be soooooo awesome, thank you very much for the chance!

I just started looking at digi-scrap when my friend ask me to vote for her in mini kit contest. I could not believe how beautiful some kits were and I got so excited that I wanted to try to make a layout. Well….let me tell you it’s a difficult task if you don’t know your way around the digi-scrap world…LOL. She introduced me to GIMP and I finally created my first layout a couple of weeks ago. Now I’m hooked and can’t wait to get the babes to sleep so I can play and create. I hope I can win the video lessons, this would make things alot easier. Thanks.

I received Photoshop as a surprise from my hubby last Christmas…and have been a bit timid about trying to figure out how to use it. I would LOVE to have the cd and someone to teach me how! I’ve love paper scrapping for years, but am ready to try digi-scrapping after seeing some amazing pages over the weekend!
