Perspective

December 30, 2010

As 2010 is coming to a close and the New Year is beginning most people like to sit and reflect.  They make resolutions to improve themselves and have a fresh new perspective on life.  While I have never been one to make new years resolutions, I like that the new year is like the new year is full of potential.

You can’t understand, change, or improve something if you don’t even see it.

Start with looking.  Open! Open! Open!

Then tilt your head and look again.  Deeper…

Look from every angle.  Don’t let one view satisfy your curiosity.

There is a beautiful wisdom found in seeing from a universal point of view.

Danielle Marie Crume

I actually took these pictures a few weeks ago.  My little man was taking a very long nap and I went to check on him and found one of our  kittys curled up sleeping in bed with him.  This is the first way I took the picture.

I was not very happy with the composition, so I played around a little and looked at it from a new perspective.   I am much happier with this picture, even though it is a little grainy.

So your Challenge this week is to take a picture from a new perspective.  You will be amazed at how a different perspective can change things.

I am also extending last weeks Challenge since I did not make the thread for them to go into.  So you have the rest of the week to put up your pictures of your traditions as well.
